The food was very tasty, but unfortunately it arrived cold. In addition, the drink was forgotten and when we tried to call, no one answered ... Still it is 4 stars because it was so delicious.

We can only recommend the Schindelhaus, the meat tastes super tender and the salad is made from high quality food. Just really great and not taken for granted these days. We will order again :)

The Schmandschnitzel were delicious. Together with the fried potatoes and the handmade salad, which also deserves its name, the portion could not be created. From ordering on the phone to our kitchen table in 40 minutes, mind you hot like from the stove, in top quality and at a reasonable price ... gladly again. And hopefully soon again "on site" in the cozy restaurant with a wheat beer.

Have ordered by phone from the corona-related delivery service. Extremely friendly even on the phone. Food was great, everything was fresh and special requests were met.

To be honest, I thought it would be a bit faster, more modern than before. Well, it was definitely clean. Unfortunately, I wasn't doing that well with my food, thick ribs weren't a big hit now, too bad! The others ate schnitzel, which was probably very good. Operation top. Super friendly and attentive. A big plus. Well, next time there’s rump steak, then it’s hopefully 5 stars?

Very nice ambience, the food is very tasty and plentiful. The schnitzels are really big, starters are not recommended. The service is friendly and quick! The only drawback, found at home, the clothes smell very much of grease, for all of them. Therefore a star deduction. Otherwise great!

Wonderful new concept with a focus on classic German cuisine and a touch of international classics. All meat dishes from the organic butcher from the Habichtswald and other ingredients in excellent quality. In addition, the price is absolutely reasonable for what is offered. Courteous service who always cared about the well-being of the guests. If meat in the restaurant or if you fancy German cuisine, then for us only here in the future. Super tasty, we were there yesterday and are thrilled. After an infinite number of restaurants that we have visited in Kassel, the Schindelhaus is by far the best ?super attentive and open staff and a general feel-good atmosphere. I became aware of this restaurant through the HNA article and had dinner there today (relatively spontaneously) with a friend. Today was the day. I like to try out new restaurants and I am glad that the gastronomy in Kassel has continued to grow in recent years ... I would only be happy about a Korean BBQ or a Japanese ramen restaurant :) But that's another topic . Back to the clapboard house. My wife and I decided to go there today. Was it good? Yes! Would we go there again? Definitely!! Why? Well, here I go a little further. We reached the location around 8 p.m. On the way to the entrance, I peeked through the window and could see that the restaurant was well attended. Fortunately, we got a table, perhaps only because a large number of guests have already decided to go to the beer garden. We were greeted in a friendly way and received the information in advance that the meal would take longer because the kitchen is fully occupied. No problem for us, it's Saturday, we've already been for a walk with our dog and had all the time in the world. We ordered two alcohol-free Alster and studied the menu. The menu offers plenty of choice. The organic meat quality at fair prices should be emphasized. The menu item "Soup of the day" is listed, which must be requested directly from the staff to find out which soup is available. You must know that I love to eat soup. When the waitress said "tomato soup", however, it took me longer than usual to make up my mind, because I am extremely careful with "tomato soup" of all things. In my experience, tomato soups always taste different in restaurants. Unfortunately, most of the foods I've tried tasted bland and bland. In the Schindelhaus you get a really delicious and spicy variant with crispy baguette slices. I hope you enjoy this. Now for the main course. We both opted for schnitzel. My wife ordered a Schmandschnitzel and I -as always- a Jägerschnitzel. Maybe you have friends / acquaintances who always order the same thing in different restaurants. When it comes to schnitzel, I belong to the same group. Both my wife and I were delighted with the organic meat quality. Tasty and tender. For schnitzel eaters it is music in the ears, a pure symphony, when you sit at the table and hear the knocking of the schnitzel from the kitchen in the distance. Especially if you have eaten far too many schnitzel in the past that were too dry and tough ... From now on my favorite place when it comes to schnitzel. I'm sure I'll be unfaithful to the schnitzel and will try other dishes there. I can unreservedly recommend the Schnitzelha .. uh .. Schindelhaus. P.S. The service is exemplary. We were asked several times whether everything was OK and whether we still needed anything. The right way to generate more sales for restaurateurs (e.g. through drinks) and to increase the general satisfaction of the guest. Customer loyalty is extremely important and that can be achieved quickly when the guest feels welcome.

Had the Rumpseak (organic!) With a baked potato with sour cream. I was also allowed to try the Schmandschnitzel. Both at the new opening on September 12th, 2020 Today we had the tarte flambée with zucchini. Everything is very delicious. Beer garden and inside it is great, cozy with style.
